Warranty and Claims Policy

Silmart provides a 5-year warranty on all products, specifically designed for industrial and commercial use. As a B2B supplier, our warranty terms apply to business clients purchasing for professional, non-personal use only. Warranty coverage includes manufacturing defects and material non-conformities, subject to proper installation and usage.

Warranty Coverage

Silmart offers a 5-year warranty on all products, covering manufacturing defects and material non-conformities.

For products with a longer warranty period, a warranty certificate is issued. This certificate outlines additional rights granted by the manufacturer, importer, or seller. Warranty does not override or replace statutory consumer rights under Serbian law.

How to File a Claim

To file a claim under warranty or non-conformity, the customer must:
– Submit a written complaint via the official contact form.
– Provide proof of purchase (invoice, receipt, or slip).
– Describe the issue in detail, including when and how it occurred.

Confirmation of Complaint

Silmart will confirm receipt of your claim in writing or electronically, including a claim reference number. We are legally obligated to respond within 8 business days of receiving the claim or the returned product.

DOA (Dead on Arrival)

If the product is defective upon first use, this must be reported immediately:
– If the courier is present, the customer must inspect the package in front of them.
– If not, damage must be reported within 24 hours.

Claim Validity Conditions

Warranty will not be granted in the following cases:
– The product was used contrary to the user manual.
– Repairs were attempted by unauthorized personnel.
– Physical damage or misuse.

Products returned for DOA must be complete, undamaged, and verified by Silmart’s service team.

Returns and Transport Costs

Return shipping for valid warranty claims is covered by Silmart. For unjustified claims, the customer bears all transportation costs.

Claims After Warranty Expiration

After the warranty period, the customer is responsible for sending and covering the cost of service, shipping, and repair. Silmart can assist with information about post-warranty service options.
